Celestial Style, handpainted wood bowl.
This is a vintage monkeypod bowl that I've given new life to by painting a celestial, folk art style design by hand on it. White twinkly stars and celestial objects contrast against deeper navy blues.
Dimensions: Approximately 11 3/4"-12" (Each section is about 11 3/4" but the sections are slightly askew adding a little more length to the piece. It also measures about 1 1/2" high
Condition: This is made from re-purposed vintage and as such may have signs of wear or small imperfections. These are not defects but natural signs of age that add character to the piece.
Care: The painted portions have been sealed for durability but it is still recommended you exercise care when handling. To clean use only a soft cloth. Only use a minimally damp cloth if absolutely necessary. Mineral oil can be used to condition the unsealed portions of the wood.
